Twelve players have been named to the All-Hoosier Heritage Conference girls basketball team Tuesday night.
Chosen in a vote of the conference’s coaches, six different HHC schools are represented. Two – Mt. Vernon’s Sophie Williams and Pendleton Heights’ Lauren Landes – are seniors.
Chad Cook of Pendleton Heights was named the conference Coach of the Year.
The team is selected through a vote of the conference’s coaches.
Sectional champion New Palestine has three selections – juniors Leah Seib, Megan Jolly and Haley Harrison. HHC co-champs Greenfield-Central and Pendleton Heights had two each. Sophomore Hannah Farrell and junior Kate Real represent G-C, while Landes and junior Kailyn Graham represent PH. The remainder of the team includes Williams and Sydnee Perry from Mt. Vernon, freshmen Carley Culberson and Elizabeth Reece of Yorktown and HHC leading scorer Cameron Tabor of New Castle.
