The Hoosier Heritage Conference cross country championship will be decided Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Muncie Sportsplex (map).
The girls race will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the boys race at 10:45 a.m. A junior varsity race will be run at 11:30 a.m. The awards will follow approximately 10 minutes after the final race. Results will be posted online at Athletic.net.
Admission is $5 per car. The gates and course open at 8:30 a.m., with the coaches meeting at the start/finish line at 9:25 a.m.
The top 15 runners in each varsity race will receive All-HHC medals, with the lowest-scoring team the HHC champion. The Yorktown girls and Pendleton Heights boys are the defending champions.
The Muncie Sportsplex is located at 700 N. Country Club Road in Muncie. Exit the Muncie Bypass at the State Road 32 exit. Country Club is the first road to the east off SR 32. Turn north to the Muncie Sportsplex entrance.
