New Castle High School will host the Hoosier Heritage Conference wrestling meet Saturday at the New Castle Fieldhouse.
Admission is $6 and includes a full day of wrestling. Action begins with the first round matches at 11:30 a.m., with the weigh-ins scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Results will be posted live at TrackWrestling.com (search for the Hoosier Heritage Conference meet).
Yorktown is the defending HHC champion.
The event features several top-ranked wrestlers in the IndianaMat.com rankings – including the top two at 113 – Yorktown’s Brayden Curtis and New Castle’s Andrew Black. Other wrestlers ranked in the top 10 are Greenfield-Central’s Carter Noehre (132) and Brad Lowe (170), Yorktown’s Colt Rutter (138) and Christian Hunt (145), Pendleton Heights’ Tremor Bynum (195) and New Castle’s Dalton Clouse (220).
