The Yorktown wrestling team won a close battle for the Hoosier Heritage Conference wrestling title, scoring 188 points to claim the trophy.
Yorktown was eight points ahead of runner-up Pendleton Heights. Greenfield-Central finished third with 168 points. The eight-point spread was the closest HHC meet since 2004.
Yorktown had six individual champs – Zach Todd, Colt Rutter, Christian Hunt, Eric Hiestand and Holden Parsons. Third-place Greenfield-Central had three champions – Gavin Rose, Carter Noehre and Brad Lowe.
Yorktown won its 13th overall HHC wrestling title and second straight.
