Co-champs Bears, Tigers lead 2022 HHC softball team

Members of co-Hoosier Heritage Conference champions Shelbyville and Yorktown lead the 2022 All-HHC softball team.

The Golden Bears placed four players on the team, while the Tigers placed three. Both teams finished 6-1 in HHC play this season and were among four teams who won 20 or more regular season games. Third-place New Palestine placed three players on the team, while fourth-place Pendleton Heights had four on the 20-player team. Eleven of the honorees were seniors.

Yorktown’s Jeremy Penrod was named Coach of the Year.
